Heart K Minis is a small, family-run miniature cattle program based in the wide-open beauty of Whitehall, Montana. What began as a love for cattle quickly grew into a passion for raising exceptional mini cows with outstanding temperaments, striking looks, and personalities as big as the Montana sky. Every animal here is more than livestock — they are part of the family.

We specialize in mid-size, miniature and micro-mini cattle, including Highlands, Highparks, Herefords, Shorthorns, and unique crosses that bring both visual appeal and gentle dispositions. Our focus is on quality over quantity, with careful attention given to health, structure, and, most importantly, kindness. Whether fluffy and shy, bold and demanding, or the resident cuddle bug, each member of the herd brings something special to Heart K Minis.

At the heart of our program is a commitment to raising cattle that are approachable, well-handled, and safe for families. Our cows are socialized daily, spoiled with brushes and treats, and known for their affectionate personalities — many will happily lean in for scratches or greet visitors at the fence. We believe mini cattle should be as enjoyable to be around as they are beautiful to look at.

Heart K Minis is also about connection — to the land, to animals, and to people. We love sharing our herd with the community through educational visits, family-friendly events, and special experiences that create lasting memories.
