Meet the girls of heart k minis

 Marlo joined Heart K Minis in November 2023 and quickly stole our hearts with her gentle, sensitive nature. She’s the shyest member of the herd, often keeping a quiet distance — until treats appear, of course. Beneath her timid personality is an incredibly sweet soul and a devoted mama. Marlo has already gifted us with two of the most beautiful, affectionate calves we could have ever hoped for, each carrying her calm temperament and striking looks. She may be reserved, but Marlo is truly one of the quiet treasures of our herd. 

 Wednesday arrived at Heart K Minis on Halloween Day 2024 — a perfectly fitting entrance for a girl with such a bold personality. From the moment she stepped off the trailer, she made it clear she had no intention of blending into the background. Wednesday is the friendliest member of the herd and absolutely knows it. Curious, confident, and wonderfully demanding, she isn’t shy about asking (loudly) for attention or treats — and she fully expects to receive them. If you hear enthusiastic mooing across the pasture, chances are Wednesday is making her wishes known. She brings endless personality, charm, and just the right amount of sass to the ranch. 

 Born in August 2024, Pepper Ann is one of the sweetest souls at Heart K Minis and a shining example of the gentle nature Mini Herefords are known for. Though still young, she already carries herself with the calm, nurturing presence of a seasoned mama, often acting as a quiet protector and comfort to the other cows in the herd. Exceptionally kind to both people and her pasture mates, Pepper Ann adores attention — especially a good brushing session — and happily leans in for all the snuggles she can get. We are beyond excited to watch her step into motherhood someday, knowing she will bring the same tenderness and devotion to her calves that she shows to everyone around her. 

 Born in April 2024, Georgia is our one-and-only Panda (for now), and she turns heads everywhere she goes. With her striking black-and-white markings, she’s a true standout — and if you look just right, you might even spot what looks like a little gorilla hidden in the pattern on her side. Beyond her unique coloring, Georgia is an absolute beauty with a calm, gentle spirit to match. She enjoys the simple pleasures in life: a good back scratch, quiet companionship, and the occasional playful headbutt to remind you she’s still got a fun side. Sweet, striking, and full of charm, Georgia is a very special part of the Heart K Minis herd. 

 Romy is a stunning Shorthorn with classic beauty and the promise of producing calves with fun, eye-catching markings. We are especially excited to see the colorful patterns she may pass down, adding even more variety to the Heart K Minis herd. Personality-wise, Romy is pure affection wrapped in a fluffy package. She is by far the neediest when it comes to attention and makes sure she’s never overlooked. Expect a gentle headbutt to announce her arrival, followed by a slobbery kiss to the face if you get close enough. Loving, expressive, and just a little bit dramatic, Romy’s motto is simple: pets first… treats immediately after. 

 Charlotte Johnson is a beautiful Highland × Hereford cross who is quickly becoming a favorite at Heart K Minis. With her soft eyes, gentle nature, and irresistibly sweet personality, she wins over everyone she meets. By far one of the calmest and most affectionate members of the herd, Charlotte simply wants to be close — leaning in for pets, showering you with slobbery kisses, and soaking up every bit of attention she can get. She especially loves a good brushing session (spa day is her favorite) and, of course, never turns down a tasty treat. Tender-hearted, trusting, and endlessly loving, Charlotte Johnson is the definition of a gentle giant in a mini package. 

 Midge holds a very special place in our hearts as the very first calf ever born at Heart K Minis. The daughter of Marlo and Hercules, she truly proves that great things come in tiny packages — they absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one. A true micro miniature, Midge currently stands at just 31 inches tall, packed with an incredible amount of fluff and an even bigger personality. She may sound like a little bulldog when she gets excited, but her heart is pure golden retriever — affectionate, loyal, and always ready to be part of the action. While she is too small to ever be bred, Midge’s role in the herd is just as important: resident sweetheart, entertainer, and living proof that sometimes the smallest cow makes the biggest impact.
